A tradition remembered

In accordance with a tradition started in the 1800s, cavalry troopers’ new spurs aren't recognized for wear until the 'Senior Spur Holder' taps their silver spurs with his Cavalry Saber, as strong symbol of pride and honor within the Cavalry.
