An Oregon National Guard honor guard team member presents the U.S. flag to Mrs. Antoinette K. Hatfield Sept. 24 during a tribute ceremony at the capitol in Salem, Ore., for Mark O. Hatfield, former Oregon senator and governor. Hatfield was a landing craft officer for the U.S. Navy during the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
