Kandahar Air Wing crew chief flies with Task Force Lift for first time

Staff Sgt. Jonathan Pena-Reyes, a flight engineer instructor for Task Force Lift (7th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment), directs Sgt. Mohammed Shafi's, a crew chief for the Afghan Air Force's Kandahar Air Wing, attention to the CH-47F Chinook helicopter's engines during a mission in Southern Afghanistan Sept. 14. This was the first time an Afghan Air Force crew chief has flown with TF Lift as part of a training exercise for the Afghan Air Force crew chiefs.
