Army Col. Christopher Sallese, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District commander, participated in the 106th annual convention of the Gulf Intracoastal Canal Association, Aug. 10-12 in New Orleans. District senior leaders and members of the Navigation and Operations divisions took part in multiple informative sessions and programs targeting key issues of importance to the barge industry.
