FIREBASE SAENZ, Helmand province, Afghanistan - Sgt. Tony Hansen, a Hartwell, Ga., native and a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor with Alpha Battery, jumps with his fellow Marines while performing burpees, a full body exercise during combat conditioning portion of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Green Belt course held aboard the firebase. The Marines often conduct combat conditioning in their combat gear. Hansen said the courses he and his fellow instructor run are not easy and added every belt is earned.
