SHUKVANI, Helmand province, Afghanistan - A cloud of dust and debris rises into the air above the Ladar Bazaar after Marines with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion detonate a line charge. Second CEB leveled the marketplace to eliminate the threat of Improvised Explosive Devices. Local residents expressed a concern for their safety and have been unable to use the bazaar for some time due to insurgent activity in the area.
