First Lt. Stuart Erkes with the logistics company 173rd Headquarters Company, Specialty Battalion at Bamburg, Germany, takes in the beautiful sunset after making a successful jump at Grafenwoehr’s Bunker Drop Zone. After a 16 hour day of preparing for his jump from 1400, Erkes calmly secure his parachute in the bag. There is no wind, the rain clouds move away in the distance making perfect weather for his troops and him to successfully complete their mission here.
