Army Col. James F. Bowie receives the Louisiana Minuteman from Maj. Gen. Bennett C. Landreneau, the Louisiana National Guard’s adjutant general, at a retirement ceremony honoring his 31 years of service at the Stafford House on Camp Beauregard in Pineville, La., July 19. Bowie’s last active duty assignment was the state inspector general for the LANG.
