Brig. Gen. Perry Lim, commander, 3rd Division, Singapore armed forces, kicked off this year's Tiger Balm, a joint exercise between Singapore and U.S. military forces, by striking a gong during the opening ceremony held at Pasir Laba Camp, Singapore, July 19. The exercise brings the knowledge and experience of the Singapore army together with that of U.S. citizen-soldiers and citizen-airmen from Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.
