Lt. Col. Jocelyn Yu, a Lewisville, Texas, native and dental technician with the 965th Dental Company, an Army Reserve unit based in Texas, inspects a child’s mouth at the first of three humanitarian civic assistance sites as part of MEDFLAG 11 in Ghana July 16. Sponsored by U.S. Army Africa, the bilateral MEDFLAG 11 strengthens the relationship and interoperability between the U.S. and Ghana military forces through 10 days of collaborative training and sharing of medical expertise, as well as joint humanitarian civic assistance in local communities.
