Ceremony marks the completion of an aviation apron extension

Workers prepare a ramp foundation for concrete June 30, as the second part of a three-phase construction project at Kandahar Airfield. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District – South is constructing improvements to KAF that will increase ramp space for all combat aircraft.
