Col. Tim McAteer, commander of the 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, uncases the 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade's colors during a transfer of authority ceremony at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, June 21, 2011. During the ceremony, the 2nd AAB assumed responsibility of the advise, train and assist mission in the Anbar province from the 4th AAB, 3rd Infantry Division. The 2nd AAB has been tasked with strengthening the Iraqi security forces as they work to maintain a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people as the 2nd AAB leads the transition of U.S. forces out of Iraq.
