Maj. Kirk Liddle, 11th Infantry Regiment, strains for another chin-up during the 2007 Lt. Gen. David E. Grange Best Ranger Competition. The Vancouver, Wash., native and his partner Capt. Ryan Armstrong of Columbia, Md., are amoung 39 Ranger teams competing in the three-day non-stop event that will take them over 60 miles by foot each carrying an 85 lb. backpack.
