Teams of Rangers pack their gear before weighing the near 85 lb. packs they will carry over 60 miles during the three day Lt. Gen. David E. Grange Best Ranger Competition. The 39 teams will begin competition tomorrow morning as day breaks and will continue non-stop for 60 hours ending Sunday.
