Fishing for family fun

The size didn’t matter to this proud child as Staff Sgt. Henry Kalakauskis helped unhook the prize catch; he was one of the many volunteer from the Regional Training Center- West, one of Fort Hunter Liggett’s tenant units. It was with their help and many others in the community that made the event a great success.

  • Soldiers of the 366th Engineer Company from Syracuse, N.Y., fire an inert mine clearing line charge into a simulated mine field at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., June 12. The soldiers fired the MCLC to demonstrate its capabilities to the unit, many of which had never seen one before.
  • The 316th ESC train on reflexive fires at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., April 21.  This training allows the soldiers to practice the principles of  "shoot, move and communicate" and is one of the many soldier tasks 316th ESC soldiers learned while at Regional Training Center-West.
