First Lt. Aaron Lemons, brigade medical planner with 2nd “Dagger” Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division – Center and a Pleasantville, N.J., native, bows his head in prayer prior to the 10-kilometer Fallen Hero Run May 22, 2011, at Camp Liberty, Iraq. Lemons dedicated his run to Sgt. 1st Class Luis Gonzalez, who was assigned to 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Inf. Div., when he died Oct. 27, 2009, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in the Arghandab Valley, Afghanistan.
