Marine’s museum-type displays bring history alive

The recreation of the Union blockhouse fort guarding a railroad bridge across Slocum Creek as depicted by Staff Sgt. Joseph Frangiosa Jr. The diorama currently resides in the Havelock Tourist Center. This and other dioramas by Frangiosa have received much praise for detail and historical accuracy. Frangiosa is an MV-22 Osprey maintenance controller for Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 165.
