Cmdr. Earl Frantz, the officer in charge of the Concussion Restoration Care Center, gives a tour of the new facility to Lt. Gen. Thomas Waldhauser, the commander of Marine Corps Forces Central Command, May 7. Wounded Warrior care remains a top priority for senior military and government officials alike. The CRCC was also recently visited by Dr. Jonathan Woodson, the assistant secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, John R. Campbell, the deputy under Secretary of Defense for Wounded Warrior Care, and Maj. Gen. Melvin Spiese, the deputy commanding general of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. In addition to concussion care, the facility also specializes in muscle skeletal injuries and mental health care.
