Craven Leadership is one of a few yearlong executive leadership programs that educates its members on the economics, diversity and happenings in their local area, said Vanessa W. Lawrence, community plans and liaison specialist at Cherry Point. The group visited Fleet Readiness Center East, air traffic control, Marine Transport Squadron 1, a demonstration of the military police working dogs unit, and Miller’s Landing among other places aboard the air station.
