The Fort Lee Marine Corps Detachment, led by Lt. Col. Johnny G. Garza, runs down Gen. Puller Highway in Saluda during its annual Chesty Puller Run Oct. 5. The run, which included the participation of 398 Marines, covered 66 miles to the town of Saluda where Lt. Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller is buried with his wife Virginia in the Christ Church cemetery.
