Lt. Col David S. Flynn, commander, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, ‘Top Guns’, 101st Airborne Division, currently attached to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, prepares to escort media from Combat Outpost Stout, to nearby Tarok Kolache village to attend a mosque opening ceremony April 1. The mosque is the first completed structure in a massive joint reconstruction effort by Tarok Kolache landowners and International Security Assistance Forces since the village, previously a Taliban stronghold, was destroyed Oct. 2010, in an effort to rid it of insurgents and large quantities of improvised explosive devices.
