Bringing smiles to Iraqi kids: Iraqi Kids Day brings US personnel, Iraqi locals together

U.S. Army 1st Lt. Kim, a Fort Lee, N.J., native, participated in Iraqi Kids Day with other members of 2nd Bn., 11th FA Regt. Since the summer of 2010, U.S. soldiers of Joint Base Balad have hosted Kids Day, offering kids and local Iraqis a rare glimpse in the lives of U.S. troops operating in and around Balad.
