    316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)

Staff Sgt. Janine Marie Smeltz, a automated logistical specialist, with the 378th Combat Service Support Battalion, inspects the bolt of her M-16A2 service rifle before qualifying on the range at the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command’s Best Warrior Competition. The range day event is one of many events held at this competition that determines the best soldier for a command. The winner of the Best Warrior Competition is a soldier that has knowledge of regulations, marksmanship and basic soldier tasks. That soldier has to show a high level of being physical fitness.
