An Air Force MC-17 Globemaster delivered water and field showers to Sendai Airport, Sendai, Japan, for local Japanese families at the Ooshima Community Center in Matsushima, Japan, on March 26 during Operation Tomodachi. These efforts include coordination by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development, in constant consultation with Japanese authorities and U.S. Pacific Command.
