Sgt. Orlando Garcia swings a red chemical light to rally fellow artillerymen on his gun during training Feb. 10, in preparation for a large 82nd Airborne Division night-time airborne exercise at Fort Bragg, N.C. The soldier’s unit, 3rd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, will air-drop two M119A2 105 mm Howitzers from a C-17 aircraft along with the gun crews with the goal of readying one of the guns to fire within 25 minutes of the first Paratrooper’s exit.
