Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Bostick from the Class of 1978, Deputy Chief of Staff G-1, addresses the Corps of Cadets during the 35th annual Henry O. Flipper dinner at the Cadet Mess Hall Feb. 10. Flipper was the first African-American graduate from West Point, and the annual dinner is held to recognize his leadership and perseverance, and highlights the importance of the Army Values and personal courage throughout the Corps of Cadets.
