    Cpl. Ammon R. Lang, a police mentor team trainer, and Seaman Ryan H. Basgby, a corpsman withBravo Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, return small arms fire from a role player at the Las Pulgas Military Operations in Urban Terrain town, Dec. 11. The Marines of Bravo Company were tasked with conducting a cordon-and-search and setting up security for a planned key leader engagement in the village. Lang was injured in a notional improvised explosive device blast and the two simulated returning fire once their position was attacked by insurgents. Lang is from Las Vegas, and Bagsby is from Nashville, Tenn.
