Members of the Chilean air force during a visit to the 149th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard, watch weapons leaders load a missile on to an F-16 as part of an information exchange in conjunction with the State Partnership Program at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, June 15, 2017. During the exchange, Chilean pilots and weapons loaders learned different techniques and operating procedures from our 149th FW weapons loaders to take back and incorporate their home units. Texas and Chile are paired through the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program, which conducts military-to-military engagements in support of defense security goals but also leverages whole-of-society relationships and capabilities to facilitate broader interagency and corollary engagements spanning military, government, economic and social spheres.(Air National Guard photos by Staff Sgt.
