Flight deck personnel aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock clear the rotor blades of a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter assigned to the Evil Eyes of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 163 after removing chalks and tie-down chains from the aircraft. Comstock, part of the Boxer Amphibious Readiness Group, Assault Craft Unit 1, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, are underway off the coast of southern California participating in certification exercise in preparation for a 2011 deployment.
