Army unit flies new unmanned aircraft in Iraq

The sun rises above Camp Taji, Iraq, silhouetting the Army’s newest “eyes in the sky,” the MQ-1C Gray Eagle, Nov. 21. The aircraft is being tested by QRC1-R1, a specially trained drone unit attached to the Enhanced Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division.
