U.S. Navy Fleet Master Chief Petty Officer Roy M. Maddocks, Jr., senior enlisted advisor for U.S. European Command, helps grill some of the 1,500 steaks brought to Camp Bondsteel with Cooks from the Valley as part of the Veterans Day events, Nov. 11. Maddocks spent Veterans Day with the troops at Camp Bondsteel and reminded them that Veterans Day is not just about thanking those who serve and have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, but also those who support the U.S. military.
