Stanley Reeves is sworn in as a new U.S. Army Reserve Ambassador aboard the USS Yorktown, in Charleston, S.C., Oct. 2. Reeves, a retired command sergeant major from the 87th Division, is an ambassador in the 81st Regional Support Command, located at Fort Jackson, S.C. A native of Walthall County, he is one of two ambassadors that will serve as a liaison in the state of Mississippi. The Army Reserve Ambassador Program was established in April 1998 so that private citizens can help to promote awareness of the Army Reserve and the identified goals and objectives of the Chief, Army Reserve.
