Spc. Carlos Thompson, C Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, presents a certificate of appreciation and a 2BCT coin to Jack Cimino, a WWII veteran of the former 325th Glider Infantry Regiment at the final 325th GIR reunion in Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 25. Five 2BCT Paratroopers attended the event to pay respect to the veterans, whose unit paved the way for 2BCT.
