President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite receives honors from Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Carpenter, an aviation warfare systems operator, as she arrives aboard USS Mount Whitney (LCC/JCC 20). Grybauskaite received a tour while the ship was operating off the coast of Lithuania. Mount Whitney is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship homeported in Gaeta, Italy, and operates with a hybrid crew of U.S. Sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
