A Reconnaissance Marine from 1st Marine Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., lands in an open field after parachuting from a CH-53 "Super Stallion" helicopter with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465, during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton, Sept. 9. The Recon Marines jumped from 1,500 and 2,000 feet.
