Army Helo Unit Reassembles by Night, Flies by Day

Members of the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Wainwright, Alaska, reassemble CH-47 Chinooks on the flightline, Sept. 6. The soldiers are working under flood lamps at night to avoid heat stress and dehydration as they acclimate from the Alaska’s cooler climate to the heat and humidity in Pakistan.
