Sgt. 1st Class Jason Alexander (front) and Staff Sgt. Douglas Norman load a dummy patient into a Huey helicopter during the nine-line medical evacuation portion of the battle drills test Oct. 5, 2006. Alexander and Norman are part of 20 NCOs and Soldiers competing at the fifth annual NCO and Soldier of the Year competition Oct. 2-6, 2006, at Fort Lee, Va.
