Sgt. Anthony Sanders, a designated marksman with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, looks through his scope before firing at an enemy combatant, Aug 20. Sanders engaged an insurgent who was shooting at Marines with an AK-47 assault rifle. The insurgent began firing at Marines from about 450 meters after firing two rocket-propelled grenades at Patrol Base Bulldog. Marines countered the attack with well-aimed shots from the confines of their compound.
