Martin Rustvold with the Indiana Commendation Medal at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center in central Indiana July 30 for providing assistance to a police officer struck by a vehicle while directing traffic after the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway July 19. Rustvold is a military police officer with the Iowa National Guard's 734th Agribusiness Development Team.
