Cadre Team Leader Russell Bowlin prepares a bag of basic items cadet Danni Duran, 16, of Ethete, Wyo., will use at the Wyoming National Guard’s Youth ChalleNGe Program. Cadets reported to the program, based at the Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center, in Guernsey, Wyo., July 11. The program, a joint venture between the state of Wyoming and the National Guard, provides high school dropouts with a chance to earn their GED, while learning life skills and job skills. Approximately 98-percent of Wyoming Youth ChalleNGe graduates earn their GED.
