Task Force Marne Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Tony Cucolo, presents the Army Commendation Medal with Valor Device to a family member of one of two fallen Peshmerga with 2nd Battalion, 12th Brigade, Peshmerga Army, July 18, at Camp Zaytun, Erbil, Iraq. The Peshmerga, who were part of the Kurdish fighting forces, were killed in action, May 10, after they fired shots to prevent a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device from entering a combined checkpoint.
