Golden Coast Postal Soldiers Deploy to Iraq

Long Beach, Calif. resident, 1st Lt. Griselda Bramham, and Sgt. 1st Class Ernie Carranza, from Palmdale, Calif., display their unit's Yellow Banner at Army Support Activity-Dix's Infantry Park, July 15. Their unit, 376th Adjunctant General Company (Postal Team) is an Army Reserve organization from Bell, Calif. that will deploy to Iraq to conduct post office operations. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
