As a team Cpl. Emmanuel P. Velayo, spotter, and Sgt. Nicholas B Abernathy, shooter, share a unique profession as members of the Scout Sniper Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.
