Pvt. Tien Nguyen, a student at the Patriot Academy, completes class work in pursuit of his high school diploma at the Patriot Academy at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Ind., July 2. Nguyen is part of a growing student body at the Patriot Academy that is becoming more diverse. The Patriot Academy is a National Guard initiative that allows high school dropouts to earn their high school diploma through online courses while serving in the Army National Guard.
