Col. William Coultrup, commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines, speaks to the Philippine media, following an award ceremony held at the Western Mindanao Command Headquarters. Coultrup was awarded a plaque of appreciation, along with the Gawad Sa Kaunlaran medal from Lt. Gen. Ben Dolorfino, commander of Western Mindanao Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines, for his valuable services and support to the AFP mission, which benefited the people of the Philippines. At the request of the Philippine Government, JSOTF-P works alongside the AFP in a strictly non-combat role to defeat terrorists and create the conditions necessary for peace, stability and prosperity.
