An M1 Abrams main battle tank from Alpha Company, 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division is guided off the raft by Cpl. Jonathan Dickens, a combat engineer and raft commander, during a training exercise with Bridge Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, across New River June 4 aboard Camp Lejeune. The exercise had the purpose to offer the Marines a real life experience and to take the tanks to SR-10 range, the only range sanctioned for the 120 mm cannon for semi-annual qualification.
