Command Sgt. Maj. Brandon Haywood and Lt. Col. Johnny Davis, commander, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, (Air Assault) uncase the battalion colors during a Transfer of Authority ceremony held at Forward Operating Base Wilson, May 29. The ceremony relieves the previous unit of their control of the area of operation.
