Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas, commanding general, JTF-Haiti, says goodbye to U.S. Army South Soldiers redeploying from Operation Unified Response May 14. The Soldiers are returning to Fort Sam Houston, Texas. USARSO troops have been in Haiti since mid March serving as the headquarters element of JTF-Haiti. USARSO Soldiers also provided the day to day support for the service members in Haiti, ranging from mail delivery to preparing hot meals.
