Deployed Louisiana Soldiers receive a 'Saintsational' visit

Tiger Brigade Soldier, Spc. Lester P. Broussard from Lafayette, La., logistics, with Headquarters Company 256 IBCT, sported his arm bearing a New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Championship tattoo with the New Orleans Saints' Saintsation Erin. Louisiana National Guard Soldier is currently deployed with the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

This trip to Baghdad was the third such for Operation Catch Fish staff which consisted of television personalities, Joe Mercurio of the 'Professional Tarpon Tournament' series along with his co-host Shelly Sanders,  Mary Delgado, former hostess of 'Bass Tech' and starlet contestant on the sixth season of 'The Bachelor,' and Gary Hain, inventor of the telescopic lure retriever.   • Louisiana National Guard Soldiers with the 256 Infantry Brigade Combat Team enjoyed a day of fishing with Operation Catch Fish, III, hosted by Joe Mercurio, Sheli Sanders, Mary Delgado and Gary Hain with special guests New Orleans Saints? Saintsations. OCF came to the Victory Base Complex in Baghdad, Iraq, April 28, to entertain and boost the morale of Troops in theatre in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tiger Brigade Soldier Staff Sgt. Garon L. Alario, battalion communications, from New Iberia, La. threw his baited line to try his luck with the fish. OCF hosted the Baghdad Fishing Derby for Soldiers in cooperation with the Baghdad Anglers Club to catch carp, barbell, asp and catfish in a lake on Camp Liberty. Prizes were awarded for the largest and puniest catch of the day, including Reactor watches, fishing poles and filled tackle boxes.  Soldier is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
