    Capt. Samuel Norton, left, executive officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau; Capt. John Bruening, commodore of Amphibious Squadron 8; Col. Thierry Burkhard, commanding officer of the 13th Foreign Legion Demi Brigade; Lt. Col. Guy Stablo, assigned to the 13th Demi Brigade, and Capt. Peter Petronzio, commanding officer of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, take a tour of Nassau. Nassau hosted senior leaders of the 13th Demi Brigade before training exercises with the French Foreign Legion. Nassau is the command platform for the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
